To help HVACR professionals get the right measurements, Fieldpiece created this in-duct psychrometer head to take measurements in the duct where they need to be taken – close to the evaporator! So, HVACR professionals can trust the results for tests such as temperature separations, target evaporator outlet temperature and target superheat, because measurements are taken without the interference of outside air temperature or leaks in duct work.

Like all Fieldpiece products, the ARH5 accessory head was specifically designed to put the right tools in the hands of HVACR professionals. For even greater comfort and time saving, Fieldpiece designed the telescopic detector 38 ″ with laser engraving, so technicians know the sensor is in the right place and facing the right direction. With the fast response sensor, you can complete the target superheat and perform target evaporator outlet temperature tests.

Designed specifically for HVACR professionals, the ARH5 InDuct Psychrometer is an excellent tool for properly charging fixed containment systems. Above the 70% of A units / C are improperly charged and therefore operate inefficiently, but with the ARH5 it is easier to ensure that the units are operating at maximum efficiency.
