Scaling for adiabatic condensers. The steady cooling of the water quickly deposits a thick metallic coating on metal surfaces, restricting airflow and insulating heat exchange fins. This buildup causes head pressures to rise as the condenser struggles to dissipate the heat, ultimately leading to system failure. Worse, because the heat exchange fins are so sensitive, there was no way to remove the scale without damaging the coil… until now.
