I. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR REFSOL VACUUM PUMPS
Please read and fully understand this user manual before use to avoid personal injury or damage to your equipment.
Do not expose it to rain, HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Store the REFSOL vacuum pump indoors.
Do not use it to pump coolant, flammable gases or liquids,SERIOUS EXPLOSION HAZARD.
Do not use in pressurized systems or ammonia or salt water systems. Doing so can damage or contaminate your vacuum pump.
Do not start the REFSOL vacuum pump without enough oil in the oil tank.
The oil from the vacuum pump may be hot after operating the equipment. Handle it with care.
This REFSOL vacuum pump should only be used to evacuate cooling systems after removing the coolant from the system and opening the cooling system to the atmosphere.
This REFSOL vacuum pump must not be used as a pump for transferring coolants or any other gaseous medium, because it can cause damage to the product.
Only the REFSOL R32 series vacuum pump is compatible with A2L refrigerants. To reduce the risk of injury, when applying a vacuum process to A2L refrigerants, be sure to operate the pump in a cool and ventilated area.

III. REFSOL VACUUM PUMP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before use
All REFSOL vacuum pumps are designed for operating voltages +10% of the normal price.
a) Check the voltage and current frequency at the output and make sure it matches the specifications on the metal plate of the pump motor. Make sure the ON-OFF switch is in the OFF position before connecting the pump to a power source.
b). Make sure clean oil is added to a level between the MIN and MAX lines from the drain port or oil fill port (if it exists) before turning on the pump. Refer to technical data and manual for correct pump oil capacity.
c). Replace the drain fitting or oil filler cap (if it exists) and remove the plug from the transfer hose inlet fitting.
d). Turn the power switch to the ON position. They may be needed 2 to 30 seconds for the pump to run smoothly, which depends on the ambient temperature. Subsequently, check the oil sight glass for the correct oil level, which should also be between the MIN and MAX lines, after the pump has been running for about one minute with the cap tightened on the intake fitting. If necessary, refill oil.
Caution: Insufficient oil filling below the MIN line will result in poor vacuum performance. Operating temperatures will cause the oil to expand, too much oil above the MAX line may result in oil overflow from the exhaust fitting.
2. To turn off the REFSOL vacuum pump after use
To extend pump life and smooth starting, these procedures should be followed to shut down the pump.
a). Close the valve on the pressure gauges between the pump and the system.
b). Remove the hose from the pump inlet.
c). Cover the inlet port opening with the plug to prevent contamination from foreign particles entering the port
IV. REFSOL VACUUM PUMP MAINTENANCE
1. REFSOL vacuum pump oil
The condition and type of oil used in any REFSOL high performance vacuum pump is extremely important in determining the final vacuum achievable. The use of high performance vacuum pump oil is recommended, which is specially blended to maintain maximum viscosity at normal temperatures and improve
start.
2. REFSOL vacuum pump oil change procedure
a).Make sure the pump is warmed up.
b). Remove the oil drain plug. Empty the contaminated oil into a container and follow the recycling procedure in appropriate places The oil can be removed from the vacuum pump , opening the inlet and partially closing the exhaust with a cloth while the pump is running. Do not run the pump for more than 20 seconds using this method.
c). When the oil draining is complete, tilt the pump forward to remove oil residue. Replace the oil drain plug. Remove the oil filler cap and fill the oil pan with new vacuum pump oil until the oil level is between the MIN and MAX lines.
d). Make sure the inlet ports are covered before turning on the pump. Let it run for a minute to check the oil level. If the oil level is below the MIN line, fill oil slowly (with the pump running) until the oil level reaches the MIN line at least. Replace the oil filler cap, make sure the inlet is covered and the oil drain plug is tightly closed.
e). If the oil is heavily contaminated with sludge formed during operation, you may need to remove the oil tank cover and wipe it clean.
g). The alternative method of dealing with heavily contaminated oil is to force the oil out of the pump oil reservoir. Let the pump run until it warms up. While the pump is still running, remove the oil drain plug and slightly restrict the exhaust port. This will back pressure the oil tank and clean the dirty oil with the contaminants. Turn off the pump when the oil stops flowing
the). Repeat this process as needed until the contaminants are completely removed.
i). Replace the oil drain plug and refill the oil pan to the correct oil level with clean vacuum pump oil.
Note:
1. This product operates at ambient temperature: +5℃ to +40℃.
2. If the power supply for this product is 110-220V50/60Hz as shown in the drawing below, check the power supply parameter before using the vacuum pump to make sure the power supply conversion switch is in the correct setting.110V or 220V.
3. This product is equipped with a thermal protection function. If the ambient temperature is too high or the voltage is too high, the product may stop working. It is recommended to immediately turn off the power supply and cool the vacuum pump by reducing the ambient temperature or supply voltage to extend its life .

VI. REFSOL VACUUM PUMP TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The guide below will help you recover functionality in case of malfunctions:
PROBLEM | CAUSE | ACTIONS |
LOW PRESSURE DEGREE | 1. Vacuum oil is not enough | Add the oil to the correct level, which must be between the MIN and MAX lines, when the pump is running.. |
2.Emulsified pump oil, it is not clean | Replace with new vacuum oil. A heavily contaminated pump may require multiple oil flushes.
3. The oil inlet is blocked or the oil supply is insufficient | Clean the oil inlet
4.Leakage in vacuum tube or container, vacuum gauge and connection adjustment | Check for leakage in pipes, jars, connections and proceed to repair
5. The pump model is not suitable | Check the size of the system to be used and select a suitable vacuum pump
6.The pump has been used for a long time, damage and wear to components caused increased gaps between components | Repair or replace a new vacuum pump
oil leak | 1. Oil seal/shaft seal wear | Replace the new oil seal/shaft seal |
2. Loose or damaged oil pan connection | Tighten the screws or replace the O-rings
3. There is a leak in the area of the oil drain plug, Loose or damaged oil drain plug connection | Tighten the oil drain plug or replace the O-rings
FAILED TO START | 1. The oil temperature is too low | Connect the air inlet to atmosphere, start the engine to warm up the pump oil |
2. Engine or power supply problems (The pumps are designed to start with +10% Operating voltage (loaded) to the + 5℃. However, if the maximum voltage is exceeded, switch malfunction may occur) | Check and repair
3. Dirt enters the pump | Check and remove impurities
THE PUMP STOPS AT LIT WORKS SUDDENLY |
1. The overload protection current disconnects if it exceeds the maximum allowable current to protect the motor from burning | Turn off the machine and check, restart the machine. |
2. Thermal overload protection is disconnect if it exceeds the maximum allowed temperature to protect the engine from burning |
Turn off the machine and check. as soon as the engine temperature drops below the maximum allowable temperature, restart the machine.
3. Motor or power problems | Check and repair |
