Η Kide KD 75 is a professional ceiling cooling unit designed for medium and low temperature cold rooms, with a nominal output of approximately 7,200W, ideal for commercial and professional applications (e.g. food stores, hotels, storage areas). Kide Uses R-455A refrigerant, which belongs to the A2L category , offering a significant reduction in environmental footprint compared to traditional coolants.
The design of the unit provides for installation on the ceiling of the chamber, saving space inside and ensuring uniform air circulation in the chamber. Its basic kide equipment includes a hermetic compressor, thermostatic expansion valve, adequate heat exchanger surface, and high/low pressure safety fuses for stable and safe operation.
Defrosting is done automatically through hot gases or electrical resistances, depending on the version, ensuring the system runs efficiently and without ice build-up that reduces performance. The unit may have a built-in defrost control, with the possibility of connecting to an electronic control panel for accurate monitoring of temperatures and functions
Except for the basic components, the series units like KD 75 offer option extensions, such as anti-aging kit (winter kit) for colder climates, anti-corrosion coating on the coils, additional voltage protection, and control system & monitoring for remote monitoring
The use of R-455A refrigerant makes Kide environmentally friendly, with a lower GWP than many traditional refrigerants, while the unit maintains stable cooling performance and energy efficiency in the designed temperature conditions.
Overall, KIDE stands for solid construction, flexible and environmentally conscious solution to commercial refrigeration, combining cutting edge technology, low GWP refrigerant options and customer service for reliable performance in every application. Our equipment development is focused on optimizing the cooling system, using compressors manufactured by top brands and featuring a design that ensures top performance. In addition, our tendency to use natural refrigerants or A2L refrigerants allows us to offer equipment with minimal environmental impact, as sustainability is one of KIDE's strategic goals.
