The company provides 2 years warranty of good operation for all electrical and mechanical parts of the air conditioner and 5 years for the compressor of the device. The guarantee is valid on the necessary condition that the following conditions are observed.
WARRANTY TERMS
1 .The company undertakes the free repair and free supply of spare parts for damage or malfunction resulting from a manufacturing error or defective part. Under no circumstances will the device be replaced or refunded. Any repair or replacement of part of the device does not extend the warranty period, which continues in each case until its termination. Our company reserves the right to determine the way, place and time of repair of damages at its absolute discretion, depending on the specific characteristics of each case.
2. The company is not responsible for damage caused directly or indirectly by:
a) Misuse - omission - negligence, and non-compliance with the instructions for use, as listed in the manufacturer's supplied brochure
b) Incorrect installation by an unauthorized workshop or technician or by any kind of intervention by an unauthorized and/or uncertified workshop and/or by the consumer himself and any third party
c) Lack of maintenance
d) Connection to a voltage other than that indicated on the device, or to current voltage changes
e) Abnormality of the electrical supply or connection to an ungrounded outlet
f) In exogenous factors that alter the texture of the device (e.g. toxic, salts, chemicals etc.)
g)Damages and problems caused by accessories or consumables, which are neither provided nor recommended by the company
3. The company is not responsible:
a) For damages caused by the transport of the air conditioning unit
b) If after the lapse of 24 months from the date of purchase the annual periodic preventive maintenance is not carried out and every year thereafter either by the partner company providing support services and the authorized workshops, or by those licensed and certified in accordance with the law, refrigerants*. The costs of periodic annual maintenance are borne by the buyer and are confirmed with the proof of service provided by the authorized/licensed workshop
c) For any malfunction of the air conditioner in which the owner does not immediately stop its operation and does not inform the company within 24 hours
d) If the air conditioner is disassembled for any reason by an unauthorized workshop or technician.
For the warranty to be valid, should be presented, to the authorized workshop that will be called for the breakdown:
a) The form of this guarantee signed and sealed by the store of purchase.
b) Annual periodic maintenance.
c) The relevant purchase invoice or receipt (or photocopy) which should clearly state the details of the machine and its owner.
Warranty does not cover:
a) Device which is installed in a place where access is difficult and cannot be done according to European and National safety rules. The buyer in this case bears the cost of scaffolding and removal.
b) Devices whose serial number has been tampered with or removed.
c) The accessories of the device (remote controls, batteries, filters etc).
The date of purchase of the device is considered to be the start of the guarantee of good operation of the device, which is shown on the packing slip/invoice or retail receipt.
The guarantee does not affect the rights of the consumer as provided for under European and Greek Legislation.
*Note: The installation, repair, maintenance or repair, decommissioning of the equipment, leak detection check, recovery of fluorinated gases or related work, it must be done by a professional technician or other person who has the legally necessary certification in accordance with the current institutional framework, as defined by the Regulation 517/2014 and any other implementing act thereof.
